About Lewis

I am a passionate personal trainer (PT) specialising in functional movement and biomechanics.

I am also an athlete living in the Blue Mountains. I started my fitness journey as a young boy competing in athletics, soccer and cross county. What began as a bit of fun quickly sparked a desire to become the best PT ever!

Along the way I accumulated an arsenal of injuries, from stress fractures to muscular imbalances; postural deviations to ITB syndrome (a knee injury); tendonitis to impingement … I’ve had my share of painful things. Later I realised all of these conditions were as a result of an accumulation of incorrect training methodologies, a lack of knowledge and understanding about physiology and overtraining (as well as a little sprinkle of personal stupidity).

Nowadays, I strive to gather the most sophisticated understandings of the human body and all its mechanisms in my pursuit of training anyone to achieve any goal and beyond.

I now work with a range of clients old and young, beginners and elites, for a variety of reasons. If you’re looking to build endurance, speed, efficiency, power, agility, explosiveness and become a well rounded athlete, or looking to finally get past those persistent niggles and injuries. Then I am the PT for you.
